High School Online

Overview

  • Mississippi State University Center for Continuing Education will begin offering high school courses online Spring 2015.
  • All course content has been approved by the Mississippi Department of Education.
  • All courses are developed and taught by licensed MS teachers.
  • Students will have interaction with his/her teacher via email and discussion boards.
  • Students must have approval from his/her high school and parent/guardian to be eligible to enroll in courses.
  • All testing must be proctored by an approved proctor (high school counselor) at an approved testing facility.
  • A final numerical grade will be sent to the school upon completion of coursework. The school will assign the equivalent letter grade based on the districts grading scale.
  • For subject area testing, students will take the tests with regularly enrolled students at his/her school.
